How to Find and Update Your Personal Information in the ASF Platform
Personal Information vs Account Information
- Personal Information: Your individual details, like name, email, mobile phone, date of birth, and communication preferences.
- Account Information: Organisation details, such as account name, bank details, authorised contacts, and fundraising profiles.
Both are stored separately for clarity and easy management.
How to View and Update Your Personal Information
- Log in to the ASF Platform.
- Click on your Name in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu. You will see:
- Name
- Username
- Adress
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Phone
- Email (with verification status)
- Opt-in to communication preferences
- Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) to update your details.
- Make your changes and click "Save".
- Note: If you update your email address, you will receive a verification email at the new address. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.
Update Your Password
- Scroll to the bottom of the My Profile page.
- Click "Update Password".
- Follow the prompts to set a new password and click "Save".
How to Access Account Information
If you need to update Account Information (e.g., bank details, fundraiser profile, or organization name):
- From the left-hand menu, click Account.
- Select Account Details or other relevant options under the Account menu.
- Follow the prompts to make the necessary updates.
