Completing Your ASF Impact Report

Who Receives the Survey?

If you're a Club, Organisation, or Individual Fundraiser, you and your authorized contacts may receive an email from ASF inviting you to complete your Impact Report.

  • For clubs/organisations: the email will be sent to your authorised fundraising contact(s).
  • 18+ Fundraisers ; the email will be sent to you and your authorised fundraising contact(s).
  • For individual fundraisers under 18: the email will go to the parent/guardian listed as the primary contact.

You’ll have 90 days to complete the survey.

Whilst it is incomplete, reminders will be sent at 60, 30 and 7 days prior to the due date.

How to Access the Survey

  1. Open the email from ASF inviting you to complete your Impact Report Survey.
  2. Once logged in, click on Impact Reports in the lefthand side navigation
  3. Go to the relevant report and click on the link to complete the survey

Why This Matters

Sharing how you’ve used your funds:

  • Helps ASF advocate for more funding opportunities.
  • Helps ASF identify insights which can be reported to the Sports and Philanthropic communities.
  • Ensures ASF meets regulatory requirements.

Completing the Survey

  • The survey contains a few short questions about how grants for your campaign(s) were utilized and what outcomes were created.
  • You’ll have 90 days to complete the survey.
  • There’s no word limit, but most responses are under 200 words.
  • The survey does not always autosave, so we recommend preparing your answers in a Word document first.

Can I Share Photos?

Yes. While the survey doesn't currently accept photo uploads, we’d love to see them. Please email any photos showing the impact of your campaign to info@asf.org.au.

Please include "Impact Report + Campaign Name" in the subject of your email.

Troubleshooting

Didn’t Receive the Email?

  • You don't require the email in order to submit your Impact Report Survey. Follow the instructions above to access via the platform.
  • Try opening the link in a different browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox).
  • Clear your cache and refresh the page.
  • Disable any browser extensions or pop-up blockers that might be interfering.
  • Still not working? Please contact ASF Support

Want to Change who can Access the Impact Report Survey?

  • Only authorised representatives (Super Users and Fundraising Managers) of the club or fundraiser can add contacts for the next survey period.
  • If the current contact is no longer involved, you can add additional contacts in the Account Section of the platform.

Can I Save and Return Later?

  • The survey does always not autosave your responses.
  • We recommend preparing your answers in a Word document and copying them into the form when ready.

How Can I Check If the Impact Report Survey has Already Been Completed For a Campaign?

  • Log in to the ASF Fundraising Platform and navigate to the Impact Reports section.
  • If your report is marked "Completed", no further action is required.
  • If it's marked "Outstanding" you’ll need to complete it.
  • If it is marked as "Unspent", the amount will be carried over to the next Impact Report period.

What If I Haven’t Spent the Funds Yet?

No problem. If the funds haven’t been used yet:

  • Select “No” for the question: “Have all the funds been used?”
  • You’ll receive the survey again in the next quarter when you’re ready to report.

For long-term or capital investments (e.g. endowments), report the funds as being spent and explain how the funds are being invested and how the income is used.

What Happens If I Don’t Complete the Survey?

Completing the Impact Report is a requirement of your ASF grant agreement. Failing to submit may result in:

  • Future audits
  • Suspension of your fundraising account
