How do we apply for a grant with another provider if we don't have DGR status?
If your club doesn’t have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, the ASF can help by supporting your grant application through a process called auspicing.
What is auspicing? Auspicing means providing support, sponsorship, or guidance. In this arrangement:
- The group or individual receiving support is the auspicee (grant recipient).
- The organisation providing the support is the auspicor (ASF).
How to request auspicing with the ASF: If you’d like to set up an auspice arrangement with us, please contact our Customer Support Team. Be sure to include as much detail as possible about the grant, such as a link to the application and any relevant website.
Next steps:
- We’ll work with you to clarify the roles and responsibilities between your organisation, the ASF, and the grant provider.
- Our team will review the grant’s criteria and terms and conditions.
- If approved, we’ll provide a letter of support for you to submit with your application.
For further questions, reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to assist.
